In some instances the original texts have not been found in the papal archives; knowledge of their existence, however, comes from diocesan collections or monastic libraries. Many of them are repetitions or variations of basic documents sent to new foundations to address particular needs or problems. Hopefully this dossier will provide new insights for future scholars and students of the rich heritage provided by Clare and the women religious of this period
