- Francis sated with drink
of the thirsty cross of Jesus,
wounded with the wounds of Jesus
merits the honor of the Leader.
- The King of Mercy
did marvelous wonders in the flesh of Francis
preceded by the splendor of uprightness.
- Through Christ's true insignia, which he bore
Francis will be famed throughout the world.

- Upon the humble Francis
God looked most mercifully
and made him someone noble
by these signs - Francis is blessed
by all born in this world
for he is made in truth
like to Christ in these wounds.
